Identity V is an asymmetrical survival horror mobile game developed by NetEase Games. Players control four survivors who are sent on a mission to investigate an abandoned place. They soon discover that a serial killer has hidden a strange puzzle in the house, and they must solve it. It is revealed that each survivor will have their personality. For instance, the female character is a young lady who has a passion for solving mysteries and wants to solve the mystery of Identity V.

The gameplay is extremely challenging and it is based on an asymmetrical control. The player controls two different characters with their special powers and weapons. For example, one character can open and close the gate to prevent the hunters from entering the mansion. Another character is equipped with a gun that he can use to take down the hunters. The goal is to complete the levels by following the clues in the puzzle and solving the mysteries. Every survivor will be able to perform different skills, such as climbing, running, jumping, shooting, and solving the mystery.
